The Team story out of the West is CrossFit Duratus of Spokane, Washington. After finishing day one in 5th place, they slipped out of a qualifying spot after Event 4/5. Even though their men took 1st place in Event 5, it wasn’t enough to make up for their women finishing Event 4 with a 7th place finish. They rallied in Event 6 and took the Event Win which rocketed them into 3rd for the day.

Another strong finisher after Day Two was the perennial powerhouse CrossFit Marysville. The women of CrossFit Marysville took the win in Event 4 with Kelsey Nagel destroying the GHD’s!

While the first two team spots are pretty much locked up by Boise CrossFit Rainbow, who hasn’t finished any event lower than 3rd place, and CrossFit Marysville. Day 3 should prove to be exciting for the rest of the field as only 35 points separate 3rd from 7th.
