Shocker: Sports Illustrated's 50 Fittest Gets It Wrong Again
Only Sports Illustrated could mess up a list of the “fittest 50” by not including the fittest woman on earth.

A couple days ago, SI released its “2016 Fittest 50 Men and Women” lists, and more than a few oversights were made.

Here are the CrossFitters and weightlifters who made the list:

Women
39. Mattie Rogers
35. Christmas Abbott
33. Camille Leblanc-Bazinet
25. Talayna Fortunato
15. Sam Briggs

Men
35. Kendrick Farris
3. Ben Smith

As you can see, it’s pretty clear SI didn’t try to put together an actual ranking and instead compiled a list of the “50 fit men and women our interns have heard of.”

Here are the athletes that should have made it:

Katrin Davidsdottir WON the CrossFit Games last year, so at the very least, she should have been in the top 10.

Brian Shaw is one of the greatest strongmen to ever compete. He won the Arnold and the World’s Strongest Man in 2015.
