Have you ever wondered how Eddie Hall has earned his nickname, The Beast? Maybe it's the fact that he's a four-time Britain's Strongest Man, a podium finisher at the 2016 World's Strongest Man, and the only man to ever deadlift 500kg. While those awe-inspiring feats have helped create an imposing moniker, Hall has his sights set on an even greater accomplishment going forward -- winning World's Strongest Man.

The Englishman has been working incredibly hard to make that goal a reality in 2017. In fact, he's been doing things recently that are downright amazing. The last time we saw him squat 345kg/760lb, he got six reps, had three spotters, and had a bit of a struggle on the last rep. Well, a lot has changed since last November:

That's 345kg/760lb for eight easy, fast, whippy reps with no belt, sleeves, lifting shoes, or spotters. In the description, Hall says he felt good for at least another six reps, and I believe him. If that's not enough for you, here's Hall pulling 320kg/705lb for 10:

And also, Hall can press a 200kg/440lb axle like it's an empty bar:

Update: The weight on that axle is a paltry 190kg/418lb; that video is just mislabeled.

I don't know about you, but I'm very excited to see Shaw versus Hall at this year's World's Strongest Man!
