Annie Thorisdottir Sets Thruster World Record On The Today Show
Two-time CrossFit Games Champion "Iceland" Annie Thorisdottir has set a world record for most weight moved in one minute using a barbell thruster.

Annie Thorisdottir took third at the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games, becoming the second individual athlete to stand on all three podium spots after Jason Khalipa. Her performance at the 2017 Games was a return to form for the Icelandic athlete after dropping out of the Games in 2015 and a middling 13th-place finish in 2016.

The previous record was 1,212lb, and Annie got 2,805lb, absolutely crushing the previous mark.
