That’s a wrap of the 2016 Senior Pan American Championships. The men of Team USA came and did what they needed to do to earn a spot to Rio, but where did they stand amongst the other countries? Take a look below.

The US men’s team placed 4th, earning one spot in Rio. Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Dominical Republic, Peru, and Canada also earned a spot. Kendrick Farris took gold in the snatch, gold in the clean-and-jerk, and gold overall in his division. That being said, he will be the final member of the US Olympic Team. Congrats Kendrick!

On the women’s side, team standings are below. Note, that the US women’s team is not ranked because they did not need to earn any spots to Rio.

Canada, Puerto Rico, Chili, and Cuba each earned a spot. Had the US been ranked they would have taken around second.

All of the archived footage of the event will be available next week, but until then be sure to check out the rest of our coverage including highlights of almost all of Team USA's lifts right here!
