Welcome to Miami! The road to Wodapalooza 2017 begins this week with the Online Challenge, and they've kicked off the qualifier with two very solid workouts, including a good mix of heavy loading and a lung-burning metcon:

WOD 1 - 6RM Bear Complex

One rep of the Bear Complex is the following:

Clean + front squat + shoulder to overhead from the front rack + back squat + shoulder to overhead from the back rack

Your goal is to get the highest load for 6 unbroken reps of that complex.

WOD 2 - Deadlifts/Overhead Squats/Double Unders

Deadlifts (225/155)
Overhead squats (135/105)
50 double unders

This deadlift + overhead squat combo is a classic burner which tends to sneak up on athletes in unexpected ways (low back and grip burner, surprise!).
