CJ Cummings is just like any other 16-year-old: He goes to school, hangs with his friends, plays video games, and loves to eat. But unlike most 16-year-olds, Cummings is a world champion weightlifter, a world record holder, and a Reebok-sponsored athlete.

Cummings is quiet and focused, and he doesn't buy into the hype of his success.

"I just take it a day at a time," he said. "I'm a regular kid. I'm just a normal teenager."

And now, he is a normal teenager that has his own signature shoe.

The Legacy Lifter is the newest product from Reebok's push into the weightlifting scene, a market that is growing at a huge rate due to CrossFit and Team USA's recent international successes in the sport.

"I chose to work with Reebok, because they're very nice, great people," Cummings said. "They gave me my own shoe, and that can't be beat."

I'm a regular kid. I'm just a normal teenager.
So as an athlete who travels around the world to compete, what makes the Legacy Lifter his favorite shoe? According to the man himself, Cummings said his signature shoes "fit really well. They're comfortable and light."

You'll notice he generally wears his white and black pair while training...

...and his black and gold pair while setting world records:

But does the pressure of being the best in the world get to Cummings' head? "No, I just go out there and do the best I can do," he said.
