Waxman's Gym Weightlifting Calculator Will Tell You Where You Suck
Sean Waxman releases Waxman's Gym Lift Ratio Calculator to help lifters and coaches identify and fix issues in their weightlifting game based on the ratios of their lifts.
In today's day and age, technology helps guide behavior in myriad ways. World famous weightlifting coach Sean Waxman has now released one of the best tools to help weightlifters I've ever seen: Waxman's Gym Lift Ratio Calculator.
The calculator is "designed to evaluate a lifter's balance." Waxman uses ratios as a tool for evaluating exactly how balanced his lifters are and also as a tool to help spot problems in a lifter's development. These data provide valuable insights to where a weightlifter should focus their energies to improve their lifts.
Waxman's calculator not only does the analysis for you, it also provides incredibly useful info on where your ratios are off, why they may be off, and a general approach to fixing the issues. You begin by inputting your best snatch and clean & jerk:
From here, your second step will be to input your PRs in a few key accessory exercises for each competition lift:
From here on, it's all gravy. Hit the "Evaluate Me" button and be prepared to learn some stuff about exactly where you suck in weightlifting. The system is incredibly powerful and can provide some valuable insights for coaches and lifters alike. Give it a shot and improve your weightlifting.
