This past Saturday was a big day at Occam Athletics in Sacramento, California. D'Angelo Osorio (105) killed a 215kg/473lb clean and jerk, setting a new PWA record which beats Donny Shankle's record of 212kg/466lb. This is also the biggest clean and jerk completed by a non-super USA male in competition in almost 20 years!

At the 2016 USAW Nationals, Osorio came in third overall with a 363kg total, including a 162kg/356lb snatch and 201kg/442lb clean and jerk.  With the 2017 USAW Nationals quickly approaching in less than a month, you can expect to see some big numbers coming from the top lifters in the nation.
