The Rhode Island Rams impressed in 2024 and hope to have a repeat this season with the return of their best performing quarterback and wide receiver duo, Devin Ferrell and Marquis Buchanan.
Ending the season at 11-3 overall and 7-1 in conference, the Rams nearly tied the Richmond Spiders for the top spot, but made it to the FCS playoffs nonetheless.

Although the team will be without one of its most reliable running backs in Malik Grant, Rhode Island could remain dominant in the CAA and FCS with Ferrell and Buchanan coming back for more. Ferrell finished 2024 with nearly 2,000 passing yards and over 10 touchdowns, while Buchanan racked up 1,124 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
