No. 1 Ferris State topped No. 16 Michigan Tech 38-10, fueled by five first-half interceptions and four total touchdowns from quarterback Wyatt Bower.

Ferris State lived up to its No. 1 ranking with a dominant 38–10 win over No. 16 Michigan Tech in Houghton.

Despite an uneven offensive showing, the Bulldogs’ defense stole the spotlight with five first-half interceptions, including a pick-six by Ahlston Ware. 

Quarterback Wyatt Bower battled through an inefficient day but still accounted for four touchdowns—three through the air and one on the ground. 

Carson Gulker hauled in two scores, while Taariik Brett added another. 

Michigan Tech managed just one late touchdown, as Ferris State’s relentless defense kept the Bulldogs undefeated and takes them to 7-0 on the season. Michigan Tech drops to 5-2.

It was not the best offensive game from the No. 1 Ferris State Bulldogs, but they were able to put away the No. 16 Michigan Tech Huskies in Houghton with little resistance. 

The FSU defense did grab 5 interceptions in the first half, including a pick six from Ahlston Ware. 

Wyatt Bower had his most inefficient game of the season, but was still able to throw for 3 touchdowns and run for another. Carson Gulker received two touchdowns.
