FloSports will offer a mix of free and subscription-based access to the CrossFit Games, ensuring the global CrossFit community has multiple avenues to follow the sport. The majority of events will continue to be available free to fans with expanded distribution across FloSports’ growing network of free streaming channels on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and FloElite’s social channels, as well as the CrossFit App and CrossFit Games YouTube. FloElite subscribers will gain access to select exclusive events, original programming, and editorial content.
As part of the partnership, FloSports will also contribute prize money with the “Performance of the Day sponsored by FloElite" award given to the individual or team that best represents the CrossFit and FloSports shared core values of resilience and grit. The winner(s) of the award will be named during the “CrossFit Games LIVE Daily Recap Show, presented by FloElite” each day on CrossFit’s YouTube channel and celebrated across the FloElite social channels.
"We've seen firsthand the passion of the CrossFit community and the demand for premium live coverage of the sport," said Phil Wendler, EVP Rights Acquisition, FloSports. "By expanding our partnership, we’re able to provide the direct investment needed to grow coverage of the sport and increase exposure of the events and athletes via our unique distribution, content, and marketing channels designed to maximize reach and engagement."
“This year’s CrossFit Games is a celebration of our athletes and global affiliate community,” said Jenna Hauca, CMO of CrossFit. “This partnership with FloSports is a direct investment back into our sport and it will give front-row access to all of our amazing athletes across all divisions in one place.”
The partnership builds on the momentum of successful coverage earlier this year of three CrossFit Semifinals competitions — Legends Del Mar, Magic City Games, and the NorCal Classic — and represents a significant investment in the continued growth of competitive CrossFit. FloSports will work with CrossFit to continue elevating broadcast quality while bringing fans deeper access to the athletes, competition, and stories that define the sport.
Beyond live event coverage, FloSports will expand year-round storytelling with original features, athlete profiles, rankings, previews, highlights, and editorial coverage while promoting the sport across its network. Additionally, the partnership is designed not only to better serve existing fans but also to introduce the sport to new audiences through FloSports' broader distribution network.
Coverage begins for the 2026 CrossFit Games on Tuesday, July 21, in San Jose, California. Masters athletes kick off first from July 21-24, Individual and Team competition will run July 22-26, with Teenage and Adaptive competitions running July 24-26. Why The CrossFit Games Are Coming To FloSports
The partnership between CrossFit and FloSports is built around growing the sport through expanded coverage, original storytelling, and direct investment.
CrossFit called the agreement an important step for the future of the sport.
"Our media partnership with FloSports is critical to the success of CrossFit. It provides direct investment into the sport with enhanced coverage and storytelling to broaden exposure. We are in a much better place today because of it."
The goal is to create more opportunities for fans to follow CrossFit throughout the year—not just during the Games—with additional athlete features, competition coverage, and original content. The partnership will provide a mix of free and subscription segments, and a FloSports subscription gives CrossFit fans access to thousands of live events across the FloSports network.
Why Are The CrossFit Games On A Subscription Service?
The mission at FloSports is to grow our sports every day, and our model will work for CrossFit and the CrossFit community by providing the direct investment needed for the sport and the type of exposure via content and marketing that will expand its reach.
A subscription model is needed to create a sustainable business that can support FloSports and CrossFit growth, but we will be making a significant amount of CrossFit content and athletes available across social media and our many free distribution channels.
We have created a mix of free and subscription-based access to CrossFit content and competitions to give everyone in the CrossFit community different ways to follow the sport.
