The medals awarded at the 2026 CrossFit Games will carry more than podium finishes—they'll commemorate two decades of the sport's premier competition.
Cristaux International and CrossFit have unveiled the official medallions and commemorative challenge coin collection for the 20th CrossFit Games, introducing a design inspired by the event's origins at The Ranch in Aromas, California.

The collection blends rugged aesthetics with intricate craftsmanship, creating medals intended to reflect the history, grit and evolution of the CrossFit Games rather than a traditional polished championship award.
A Medal Inspired By The Early Days Of The CrossFit Games
The medal concept was led by CrossFit Creative Art Director Erick Diaz, who said the design intentionally reflects the raw atmosphere that defined the early years of the Games.
The front of each medallion features 20 radiating facets representing each year of the CrossFit Games while also evoking the California sun that overlooked the original competition site in Aromas.
Rather than using a polished finish, the medals feature an intentionally weathered, cast-metal appearance meant to symbolize the demanding nature of CrossFit competition.
The reverse side includes an image of the iconic hill at The Ranch alongside the phrase:
"The Ultimate Proving Grounds for the Fittest on Earth."
CrossFit Games Medals Built To Match The Occasion
The commemorative medals are among the most intricate ever produced for the CrossFit Games.
Each medal measures just over four inches in diameter and is constructed from two separately manufactured pieces. The outer body is die-cast from zinc alloy, while the center shield is a die-struck iron insert that fits into a recessed pocket within the medal.
First-, second- and third-place medals all share the same design but feature antique gold, nickel and copper finishes, respectively.
Cristaux also hand-stitched each ribbon to the medal as part of the production process, emphasizing craftsmanship throughout the collection.
Commemorative Coins Honor The Entire CrossFit Community
In addition to the podium medals, Cristaux created a collection of 20th anniversary challenge coins recognizing the people who help make the CrossFit Games possible.
Separate coins were produced for athletes, judges, partners and event staff, with each featuring the CrossFit Games logo, the recipient's role and San Jose as the 2026 host city.
The reverse side mirrors the medal's design language with the Games tagline surrounding a shield displaying the number 20 and the years MMVII-MMXXVI, commemorating the event's history from 2007 through 2026.
Celebrating 20 Years Of The CrossFit Games
The 2026 CrossFit Games mark the 20th edition of the sport's championship, making this year's awards some of the most meaningful in event history.
Rather than creating a traditional championship medal, CrossFit and Cristaux designed an award intended to represent the sport's origins, its athletes and the two decades of competition that have shaped the CrossFit Games into one of the world's premier tests of fitness.
