While competing at the 2015 Pan American Championships, Genesis Rodriguez Gomez (53kg) faints after finishing her 106kg clean. It seems that the bar was situated high on Gomez's windpipe, causing her to lose oxygen and stability. Luckily for her (and everyone watching), she bailed perfectly and avoided further disaster. 

Gomez went on to hit a 106 and 109 kilo CJ, placing second in the lift. Her full results are as follows: 

Snatch 1: 88
Snatch 2: 90
Snatch 3: 92 (Gold) 

CJ 1: 106 (miss) 
CJ 1: 106
CJ 1: 109 (Silver) 

Total: 201 (Gold, tie)

That's one hell of a comeback.
