In case you missed it, we covered the World Deadlift Championships when Eddie Hall pulled 1020 and Hafthor Bjornsson, AKA The Mountain from Game of Thrones, pulled 990.



But that event wasn't all that was going on that weekend. The World Deadlift Championships were just one event in Europe's Strongest Man and guess who won it...The Mountain. So in case you were thinking of fucking with him, he'll outlift you then crush your skull in his bare hands.

To recap Hafthor's career in strongman so far: he's been on the podium at World's Strongest Man every year since 2012 and has won Europe's Strongest Man two years in a row. I'd say he's pretty good at what he does.
