The World's Strongest Man is underway in Botswana and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson has already broken world records. 

Björnsson is arguably the biggest name to come out of the Strongman World with his role as The Mountain on ​Game of Thrones​. Björnsson brought a larger than life character to life, becoming a household name in the process. That fame has also elevated the world of Strongman for other competitors with greater media attention and interest from fans. ​

At this year's World's Strongest Man competition, he threw a 15kg keg 7.15 meters to set a new world record. He's so strong that it's absurd. He's just the latest in a long line of Icelandic giants to own the world of strongman.
