Four athletes represented the United States on the platform at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio: Morghan King, Kendrick Farris, Jenny Arthur, and Sarah Robles. Here's how it all went down!


Morghan King (W48)

King went 2/3 in snatch and set a new American record of 83kg. She also went 1/3 in clean-and-jerk, and finished with 100kg for a 183kg total. She finished in sixth place overall.


Kendrick Farris (M94)

Farris went 1/3 in snatch, and finished with 160kg. He also went 1/3 in clean-and-jerk, and finished with 197kg for a 357kg total and an 11th-place finish overall.


Jenny Arthur (W75)

Arthur went 2/3 in the snatch, and finished with 107kg., a new American Record. She went 2/3 in clean-and-jerk as well, and wrapped up with 135kg for a 242kg total. She tied for sixth, but a body weight difference of 0.01kg in her favor put her in sixth over the lifter she tied with.


Sarah Robles (W+75)

Robles went an impressive 6/6 at Rio to take bronze and become the first American medalist in weightlifting since 2000. She finished with a 126kg snatch and 160kg clean-and-jerk for a 286kg total.
