The MIA Classic is an awesome weightlifting meet full of attitude and badass athletes, and this year's edition promises a new wrinkle from Miami. You can watch the 2016 MIA Classic for FREE on FloElite's YouTube channel this Saturday and Sunday.

The full start list is packed and standing out of the pack is the husband-and-wife duo of Christian and Jessica Lucero. Christian Lucero just competed at his first CrossFit Games after an epic qualifying weekend at the California Regional. He was one of only 12 individuals who competed all of the 2016 regional events, and he'll be showing up to put up some big numbers against some heavy competition in the men's 85kg division.

Jessica Lucero is one of the best female weightlifters in the nation, and the top 58kg woman in U.S. history. She competed at the 2015 IWF World Championships, the 2016 USAW Olympic Trials, and the 2016 Pan American Championships, and she holds the snatch, clean-and-jerk, and total American records as a 58.
