On Monday, Kerri Keegan took overall gold in the women's 48kg division with a 64kg/141lb snatch and a 97kg/214lb clean and jerk, earning her bronze in the snatch and gold in the clean and jerk on the way.

Caitlin Hogan captured silver across the board in the women's 53kg class with a 81kg/178lb snatch and a 107kg/236lb clean and jerk. Her snatch, clean and jerk, and total are all new American University records. On top of that, she became just the fifth American woman to clean and jerk double her bodyweight after Robin Goad, Morghan King, Tara Nott, and Melanie Roach previously accomplished the feat.
On Tuesday, five more of Team USA's members are competing: Stephanie Lemmen, Aaron Addison, Cecily Basques, Mary Peck, and Angelo Bianco.
