The 2017 Asian Championships are underway in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The competition started Sunday, April 23rd and will end Saturday, April 29th. We've already seen some great lifters put up big numbers, including Kuo Hsing-Chun (58, TPE) who snatched 104kg/229lb and clean & jerked 137kg/301lb to win the title of Asian Champion.

Here's another shot of Hsing-Chun's 137kg clean & jerk, courtesy of All Things Gym:

Hsing-Chun came in third overall at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio this past summer where she snatched 102kg/224lb and clean and jerked 129kg/284lb for a 231kg total.

Another entertaining lift from the Asian Championships includes this 149kg/328lb clean and jerk by Li Fabin (56, CHN), with video by Hookgrip.

Stay tuned the rest of this week as some big lifters get prepared to take the stage!
