Hafthor "The Mountain" Bjornsson benches 200kg/440lb for 10 reps, deadlifts 400kg/880lb for 2 reps, and paused safety bar squats 280kg/617lb for 2 speed reps in his training for World's Strongest Man 2017.

Hafthor "The Mountain" Bjornsson: Europe's Strongest Man, The Mountain from HBO's Game of Thrones, and perennial World's Strongest Man podium finisher. Thor has been chasing the title of World's Strongest Man for years only to place third or second for the past five years in a row.

Now, Thor is looking stronger than ever in his quest to be World's Strongest Man and his strength is starting to shine. With a press, deadlift, and squat part of the final events at this year's World's Strongest Man, he's going to need all the static strength he can get.
