The final competition team and alternates will be named at the Verification of Final Entries meeting on November 26, two days before the lifting is scheduled to begin.

The 2017 IWF Worlds are going to be especially interesting for the U.S., as nine of the best countries in weightlifting have been banned from competing this year, including Russia, China, and Kazakhstan.

With a team this talented and a depleted field of competition, Team USA is primed for a massive performance.
