Here are the full details of the events for the 2017 Strongman Corporation Nationals, streaming live on FloElite on 11/10 and 11/11!

2017 Strongman Nationals Events Are Rad!

More than 260 amateur Strongmen and Strongwomen from all over North America will be coming to the Linq in Las Vegas on November 10 and 11, competing in five events that will test their strength and skill. 

I believe this to be the largest Strongman Corporation Nationals to date, with 265 competitors across six divisions and 13 weight classes. The top 20 percent in each weight class will earn invites to the Arnold Amateur World Championships in March, the largest fitness expo in the world. There are also nine pro cards up for grabs. 

The top three overall in the men’s middleweight and heavyweight division get their pro card, along with the overall winner the women’s lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight divisions. Here are the events they will face:

Day One: November 10

Event One - Bartos Log Clean and Press for reps

60 seconds to get as many reps as possible

Must be cleaned from the floor each time. The judge will give a down signal for each rep.

Event Two - Bartos Yoke Walk and Bartos Farmer’s Carry

60 sec time limit to carry yoke 60’ then farmer’s back 60’.

Event Three - Bartos Frame deadlift

60 seconds to lift implement as many times possible. There will be an up and down signal. Suits not allowed. Straps allowed. The competitor will strap on “on” time.

Day Two: November 11

Event One - High Temp Hussafell Stone Carry

The competitor will carry the H-stone as far as possible in front of body. No time limit. Stone will be picked from keg.
