2017 IWF World Championship Entries List: Notable Men

The 2017 IWF World Championships are right around the corner and we're starting to get an idea of who will be representing each country on the World Championship stage in Anaheim, California.

You can find the full list of entries is here, and it'll shed some light on who we can expect to see. While the entries list is not the same as the start list, the athletes which get named to actually compete will come from this list.

Yesterday we took a look at some of the notable women's competitors, and today we'll take a look at the men.

Along with the competitors representing Team USA, here are some other names you may want to keep an eye on as they take to the world stage to represent their countries in less than a month!

CJ Cummings (69, USA) 322kg entry total

Harrison Maurus (77, USA) 332 kg entry total

Harrison’s prep for the WWC is continuing to improve, as you can tell with this PR 190kg/418lb clean + front squat + jerk complex.

Angelo Bianco (77, USA) 333 kg entry total

Daniel Godelli (77, ALB) 360 kg entry total

Mohamed Ihab Youssef (77, EGY) 365 kg entry total

Cantrell with a 200kg/440lb PR power jerk from the blocks!
