Top 3 Interviews From 2017 Wodapalooza Fitness Festival

Just days after the “bomb cyclone” tore across the eastern half of the United States with sub-zero temperatures, the Wodapalooza Fitness Festival in Miami is enjoying temperatures in the mid-70s for the duration of the festival.

That sounds pretty nice.

FloElite will stream all the sunny action LIVE, starting tomorrow and running through January 14; we’ll continue our coverage throughout and after the event.

With over 25,000 spectators and 1,500 athletes representing some 30 countries, “festival” seems too weak a word — this is the mother of all fitness festivities, and it’s happening tomorrow.

The only way to get into true Wodapalooza, of course, is to remember last year’s epic event. So without further ado, here are the top three interviews from Miami one year ago.

1. Brent Fikowski & Nick Bloch

The main thing you need to know about this one is that the following is an actual quote: “It’s like space jam.”

That’s par for the course at Wodapalooza, in the best of ways.

2. Emily Ann Abbott

We’ll keep it PG-13 — here, at least . . . can’t make any promises for the interview — but suffice it to say that this conversation with Emily Ann Abbott discusses, among other things, “the birds and the bees.”

3. Noah Ohlsen

Noah Ohlsen started this interview with a rhyme, followed with some confusion, and then decided to win the whole damn thing. But it didn’t come easy . . .

Armen: “That workout looked like it took a piece of your soul.”

Noah: “Uh, yeah, it did.”

We’re guessing that the small fragment of soul was probably worth it, given the victory that came a couple days later.

Don’t forget to tune into FloElite starting tomorrow to watch all the fitness insanity that will surely be going down in Miami.
