Hafthor "The Mountain" Bjornsson Easily Deadlifts 455kg/1003lb
Hafthor "The Mountain" Bjornsson made good on his promise and pulled 455kg/1003lb yesterday.
The second half of 2017 showed us a newly invigorated and energized Hafthor Bjornsson. After taking second at World's Strongest Man, Bjornsson made it clear he's headed to 2018 looking to finally take the crown.
He showed us massive squats and pulls like this 440kg squat and he's continued the trend into 2018 with an incredibly easy 455kg/1003lb deadlift.
Bjornsson has said he's shooting for Eddie Hall's 500kg/1102lb deadlift World Record and this 455kg/1003lb pull is exactly the types of lifts he needs to crush in order to make that happen.
Luckily, we won't have to wait very long to see Hall and Bjornsson go head-to-head as they'll both be competing at Europe's Strongest Man 2018 in early April.
