"It was natural for me to be on the platform and make lifts." From humble beginnings and being born with a club foot, Chad Vaughn knew he was meant for more. He trained to eliminate all weakness and ensure success in the sport he was passionate about. From 2002 to 2013, Vaughn won every national competition that he entered. He is a two-time US Olympian, and still holds the American record for the 77 kilo class, with a 190 kg clean and jerk. The record was set in early 2007, and still holds strong 7.5 years later. Vaughn first heard about CrossFit in 2008, and from the first workout, his life was changed forever.
