Event 2 was an exciting show as Katrin worked to hit her claim that she could finish if she executed like she did in practice.
At the end of the event, Katrin finished in 3rd behind Michele Letendre and Kari Pearce who joins Thuridur Erla Helgadottir as the only other woman to actually finish Regional Nate.

Pearce not only finished Regional Nate, she was just four seconds off of Helgadottir’s record time.
At the end of Day 1, Davidsdottir and Letendre are tied at 190 points each with Davidsdottir taking the tie break due to winning Event 1.
Just behind them are Kari Pearce, Tasia Percevecz, and Carol-Ann Reason-Thibault rounding out the top 5 with just 12 points between them.
With 300 points available in Day 2, we’re going to see some of these spots get shaken up. Expect to see Dani Horan and Maude Charron make big moves during Events 3 and 4 especially.
