We've already seen a lot of the Nike Metcon 3's and even though my sources at Nike said the product in those photos were closer to prototypes than final products, we now have another view of the shoes thanks to @nikemetconclub on Instagram:

The first thing that jumps out is the texture on the midsole. Nike seems to be moving away from the hard angles and geometric shapes in the soles of the Metcon 1 and 2 into a more organic and layered look. 

Also noticeable is that the shoe seems to be made of a different, almost knit, material and that it's taking styling cues from popular basketball shoes by including in shiny aesthetic additions.

Overall, it's a futuristic looking shoe. Nike definitely kept the Metcon profile people know and are familiar with while also evolving the look. If Nike follows the same release schedule they have in the past, we can expect to see these drop in early 2017. Can't wait to try them out!
