NPGL released this statement earlier today:
"We are writing with unfortunate news. We had a couple investors back out recently, and we have a funding crisis. We are scrambling to figure out exactly what this means. We do know that the Philly Miami match on Thursday is cancelled. We are expecting to have more clarity by end of day Wednesday.
The crazy part is that the season has been going so well. Our fan engagement is through the roof. There are so many people who want to see the League thrive. We are working around the clock to replace the funding and get back on track. We are optimistic that we can be back on track within a week or two."
