Two of the biggest surprises out of the first weekend of the 2016 CrossFit Games Regionals came out of California in the form of Dan Bailey and Brooke Ence failing to qualify for the CrossFit Games.

To those of you who have just been doing your best to kick me while I'm down, FUCK OFF cause you're wasting your time.

Brooke Ence had a solid rookie year at the 2015 CrossFit Games, coming in 14th and winning two events, but one bad finish at Regionals (27th in Event 4) put her in a hole she couldn't get out of.

Dan Bailey

It goes without saying that I am disappointed in my performance from this weekends regional competition.

Dan Bailey had a career-high 4th place finish at the 2015 CrossFit Games and has competed every year since 2011 when he won the very first CrossFit Games Open. Bailey actually didn't finish outside of the top ten but was only able to break into the top 3 on one event (Event 5).

I'm sure both of these athletes will be looking forward to 2017, but until then it's safe to say the 2016 CrossFit Games Demo Team will be incredibly fit.

Toomey, Vellner Back-To-Back Wodapalooza Champs, Mayhem Freedom Claim Title

Wodapalooza 2020 is officially a wrap. Let’s talk about what went down on the fourth and final day of competition and who’s walking away with the CrossFit Games invites. The Elite individuals and teams competed two events on the Sunday. The first event, ‘Down-Up,’ put athletes through a brutal couplet of heavy deadlifts and bar-facing burpees. The second and final event of the day, ‘Celebrate Life,’ was a chipper that required high-power output and sound strategy.
