Ben Smith racks up another event win, crushing Event 5 in 12:13, and further separating himself from the rest of the field.

Noah Ohlsen had a solid Day 2, moving all the way from fifth to second, but his position is definitely not safe as 41 points separate him from Jacob Anderson in ninth.

At the end of Day 2, the top 5 is all Games veterans shooting their way back to the big show, but the coolest story is a rookie named Chandler Smith.

Chandler Smith has had a really solid two days of competition and is only one point out of 5th place going into Day 3. If he can keep his performance this consistent he’s going to really make a solid push to qualify for his first CrossFit Games.
