Mat Fraser becomes the first individual in Regionals history to win the first four events of the weekend in a row and is on course for the most dominant Regional performance since Rich Froning’s legendary final individual weekend in 2014.

Events 3 and 4 tossed the rest of the field around like a bunch of twigs in a hurricane. Albert-Dominic Larouche stays in 2nd place, but third through fifth are all shaken up.

Patrick Vellner, who tore his bicep in Event 1, now sits in third just one point behind ADL. Four points behind him is Alex Vigneault, and only one point behind him are James Kozlakowski and Paul Tremblay.

Only 18 points separate fourth from eighth, so many of the qualifying spots are still up for grabs and with one event left for the day the question still remains: can Fraser become the first competitor to have five wins in the first five events in Regionals?
