Four of the five qualifiers going into the final day of Central Regionals remain unchanged from the day before, however only one point separates 5th and 6th place.

Going into Event 5, Brooke Wells was expected to do well with her track background and strength. While she didn’t take an event win, a 7th place finish was enough to keep her in the top 3 at the end of the day.

Karla Solum took the event win with an impressive time of 13:34. She finishes the day in 6th place, 1 point behind 5th place Nicole Chovan.

Stacie Tovar is continuing with consistency. She had 4th, 9th, and 8th place finishes throughout the day, giving her an average event finish of 6.4. overall this weekend.

A 32nd place finish in Event 5 brings Julie Foucher down to 15th at the end of the day, but she doesn’t seem bothered. In Event 5 we saw her get up and give her legs a break while on the GHD.

Only 8 points separate 7th from 5th, and only 39 points separate 5th from 1st. No one's spot to Carson in this Regional is safe yet.
