Austin Malleolo really took advantage of moving day by setting a new Event Record on Event 5 only to have Patrick Vellner beat his record in the final heat.

Patrick “The Black Knight” Vellner moves his way up the leaderboard into second place. A torn bicep usually doesn’t help legless rope climbs, but Vellner hasn’t seemed to be affected too much by the injury up until this point. If he can keep these performances up, he’s looking good for a trip to Carson.

With just two events left and only 21 points between 5th and 9th, Day 3 in the East will be incredible. Keep your eyes on Austin Malleolo and Spencer Hendel, two Games veterans with a lot of experience in brutal chippers and legless rope climbs.
