Breaking: Norik Vardanian Tests Positive
The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) just released news of an "Adverse Analytical Finding" (aka positive doping test) for Norik Vardanian.

According to the IWF, he tested positive for Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone, which is the same substance that many of the lifters from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan tested positive for in the past six months.

Interestingly, the news release lists Vardanian as lifting for Armenia, which likely means this is a positive result from a sample taken at the 2012 London Olympics when he was lifting for Armenia.

This story is still developing--stay tuned to FloElite for details.
