The 2017 CrossFit Games season gets started at the end of February, and the newly updated rulebook and drug-testing program have been officially released.
Among the changes are a new Masters 35-39 division, adjustments to how athletes who fail to submit a score are ranked in comparison to the RX and Scaled divisions, and newly upgraded prize pools to make good on a promise from three years ago. In 2014, title sponsor Reebok announced it would increase the Games' prize purse annually until it hits $3 million in 2020.
