The details around the 2017 Open announcements continue to roll in, and now we know the 17.4 announcement will take place in Mexico City, Mexico, and feature Brooke Wells and Brenda Castro:

You may be asking yourself, "Brenda Who?" Brenda Castro was the fittest woman in Mexico in 2016, and has enjoyed an incredible offseason. While she may not be a household name, Castro's coaches and inner circle are confident she'll not only hold her own against Brooke Wells, but give her a run.

"She's been putting in a tremendous amount of work over the past year, and it's time to let people see she's the real deal," her coach, Danny Lopez of Team Soul, said.

Based on what I've been hearing about Castro's training and development in the past year, I'm very excited to see her up against Brooke Wells.
