Hafthor "The Mountain" Bjornsson deadlifts a world record 472kg/1041lb on his way to winning the 2018 Arnold Strongman Classic!
Hafthor "The Mountain" Bjornsson has made history with an incredible 472kg/1041lb world record elephant bar deadlift on his way to winning the 2018 Arnold Strongman Classic.
We saw Thor train incredibly hard during this offseason, including a beautiful 1003lb deadlift not long ago. With yet another podium finish at World's Strongest Man in 2017, Bjornsson has his sights set on a grand slam in 2018: The Arnold, Europe's Strongest Man, and World's Strongest Man. With the Arnold under his belt, Thor is looking to the rest of 2018 to cap off a year with a great start.
