Expectations were high for Rockwell CrossFit going into Events 8 and 9. The football and track backgrounds of their team members led most to assume they would take the event. They ended up taking ninth in Event 8 and fourth in Event 9. 

As per usual, expectations were on Mayhem, and while they didn't take an event win, a third place finish in Event 8 and 10th place finish in Event 9 keep them on top of the leaderboard. They will go into the final day with a 130 point lead over second place. They still remain the only team to have no event finish lower than 10th place.

Sitting in second place at the end of the day for the teams is 12 Labours CrossFit. Their first place finish in Event 8 and 12th place finish in Event 9 separate them from Dynamix and Yas.
